Recording

One of the first things I tell my clients about is the joy I get from the simple action of pressing record. There's something extremely special about the moment we start to capture the actual sounds. In the recording process I make sure that every element is recorded at a healthy level, that the files are stored and backed up properly, and most importantly that it sounds great. I take the time to design each sound to the client's vision while also putting my unique touch on each element. From a single vocal or guitar, to an 81 piece marching band I can get your recording done at top quality.

Mixing

Sadly in the times of small budgets and ambitious timelines this step is not given the time and attention it deserves. But when given the proper time and attention, the project need not suffer. Mixing is the stage where I take all of the recorded elements and perfect them. Mixing includes editing, time aligning, vocal tuning, and a mixture of EQ, compression, and effects. I'm always up front about exactly what needs to be done to the tracks, the time it will take to get them to completion, and welcome the client to be an influencal part of the process. When I'm done mixing your project it will be nothing less than radio quality.

Mastering

Yes, mastering is what makes your project loud. In most cases though there's a lot more that goes into the process that most people don't think about. Things like making sure the time in between songs is correct on a CD or Streaming service, or that when your song is played back through a club sound system it doesn't break the speakers. It also is the final "salt and pepper" stage. Any frequencies that need slight adjustment will get that treatment. Your projct will be ready for distrabution after mastering.

Production

Through the time I've spent in music I've met countless people with some of the tools and talents I don't possess. Most of these people being Songwriters and Producers. These are trusted people I can connect you with and/or call on to aid the process. Here's a list of some of the tools these people bring to the table:

  • Budgeting

  • Beat Making & Composition

  • Songwriting

  • Lessons

  • Marketing

  • Music Law
