More than Worship Music!
This project was brought to the Sound Kitchen by a couple of local Nashville songwriter/artist/producers, Daniel Doss and Foster Ferrell. The music featured on this project was written on piano by Lynn VanGinhoven who represents Salty Church in Ormond Beach, Florida. Daniel and Foster worked with Lynn ahead of the session to program accompanying tracks and select the right singer/songwriters for the music. The songwriters then wrote lyrics to Lynn’s music. We spent four days in Studio E at The Kitchen tracking drums (Bernard Bell), bass (Richard Davis), piano (Daniel), guitar (Foster), and vocals. I know it sounds cliche, and it definitely won’t be the last time I say it, but this is my best work on a recording to date! Here’s a couple of the songs from the album, sung by John Tibbs.
